Three Wishes Box

You will need a box with a lid, just large enough to holdsmall pieces 

of paper; whatever you need to decorate the box, if neccessary; a 

photo of yourself; a quartz crystal; and a pyramind.

If you choose a cardboard box, you can cover it with a pretty 

wrapping paper or decoupage it with cut-outs of faeries, flowers, 

animals, or whatever you desire. If you choose a wooden or metal box, 

however, you can leave it plain, or you can glue small artificial 

stones or sequins onto it. Make the box completely yours through the 

decorations.

Take three small squares of paper (about 31/2 inches square is a good 

size) and write out three things you wish to happen before the next 

Equinox or Solstice. Think about this carefully before you write them 

down. When you are finished, put them inside the box. Place the 

crystal into the box on top of the wishes.

Place the wish box in a place where it is unlikely to be disturbed. 

Align it to the directions; in other words, one side should face true 

north. Place your photo on top of the box.

The pyramid does not have to be made of crystal or some other expensive

material. You can make your own out of plain cardboard, and it will 

work just as well. If you have a small pyramind, place it on the box 

and align it to the true directions. If you make your pyramind large 

enough to cover the box, set it in place, alligned to the directions.

Hold the plams of your hands near the wish box and chant three times:

Wishing box, I trust to you these wishes. 

Make them all come true. 

My desires, I beg you fill. 

So mote it be just as I will. 

Until you develop a trust in your wish box it helps to visit it once 

or twice a week and tell it you trust in its work.
