Part 2
Low John
Low John is also called trillium, southern John, Low John the Conqueror, wake robin, white wake robin, snow trillium, great white trillium, birth root, and beth root. Trillium grandiflorum is its botanical name.
Low John is a perennial plant with dense whorls of dark green leaves. It loves shade, thrives on rich and moist soil, and is usually found in woods. Great white trillium tends to provide ground cover because its roots creep and spread underground. Native to eastern North America, Low John blooms in spring with a single spectacular white flower that may fade to a pinkish color. The fruit is a blackish berry that appears in the autumn. The only part of the plant used magically is the root.
Pluto and Venus are Low John's planets. Its gender is female, and water is its element. In the old language of flowers, Low John indicated "Ardor." The root is carried or added to mojo bags as a charm for love, prosperity, good luck, and help in family matters. It can also be used in love spells and money spells. Rub your body with Low John to attract love. Use High John and Low John together to request help from the universe with whatever crosses or concerns you.
