Bath Salts

Bath salts offer several benefits. First, depending on the type
of salts used, they may either harden or soften the water. Sodium
salts, which include table salt, borax and baking soda,  react with
the minerals in hard water, making your water feel soft and silky,
and increasing the effectiveness of soap. Sea salt will add trace
minerals to your water and  may lend your bath a "spa" atmosphere.
Finally, Epsom salts, which are made of magnesium sulfate, actually
harden your water, and work well at soothing sore muscles and stiff
bodies. Keep in mind the pupose of your bath salt when combining your
different salts.

Shining Raven-wing's Bath Salts for Spiritual Healing:
Geranium & Sandlewood

Geranium relieves stress and anxiety, lifts depression and promotes
balance. It is said that geranium will heal scar tissue and acne.,
as well as deter wrinkles. Sandlewood promotes spirituality and
healing, and allows true relaxation as it is very protective. It
also can help heal chapped ckin.  The effect of a bath salt is often
increased with color. For this balancing blend, I suggest using a
mixture of blue and green coloring.

You will need:
3/4 cup Baking Soda
3/4 cup Table Salt
1/2 cup Sea Salt
35 drops Geranium essential oil
25 drops Sandlewood essential oil
1/4 tsp Green Food coloring
1/4 tsp blue Food coloring
A mixing bowl and whisk
1 airtight glass container

Mix your salts, oils and food coloring together in the bowl, and stir
until well-blended. Take a fork and make sure that there are no lumps
or portions left unblended. Put the salts in your glass jar and seal
it tight. Next time you feel in need of some spiritually healing
pampering, add a handful to your bath.
